Mensa Group comprises of several companies with diversified activity including importation and trading pharmaceutical raw materials (food, feed and cosmetics), two manufacturing pharmaceutical activities, a dental equipment manufacturing company and a distribution company handling the distribution of pharmaceutical, hospital/ medical supplies and consumer goods.
PT Menjangan Sakti In April 1975, Mr. Jimmy Sudharta established PT Menjangan Sakti, also known as Mensa. When it started the company had only 5 employees and focused its business in trading Pharmaceutical raw materials which in the later years expanded to include cosmetic, food and feed. PT Otto Pharmaceutical Pt Otto Pharmaceutical Industries, also known as Otto was established in 1963 and is located in Bandung, West Java. PT Pertiwi Agung Pharmaceutical Industry PT Pertiwi Agung (Landson), established in 1966, is a pharmaceutical manufacturing company producing both ethical and over the counter (OTC) products. PT Mensa Binasukses The company was established in August 1973 and in the beginning it was known as PT Masa Bhakti Surya. Its earlier activities covered distribution of finished products and raw materials. During its earlier days, distribution was conducted through 4 branch offices in Java. Dental and medical equipments manufacturer - established in 1983 as a workshop supported by a few simple machines and 6 workers producing phantom heads and simple manual dental chairs and units. In 1987 the company became part of the Mensa Group and thereafter became the first modern dental equipment manufacturer in Indonesia using the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and International Standard (ISO 9001 -2000 TUV Cert).
