The group of companies that is today known as Mensa Group started through the establisment of P.T Menjangan Sakti by its founder- Mr. Jimmy Sudharta in April 1975. the company started its business in trading raw material for pharmaceutical industry throughput Indonesia. Within a short period, the company expanded its business and diversified its activity covering cosmetic, food and feed industry.

Continous growth of PT Menjangan Sakti, has provided the company ability and resources for the company to expand in related business. Since 1981, PT Menjangan Sakti has started to acquire some companies and formed a group of business known as Mensa Group. OTTO Pharmaceutical in 1981, Landson in 1984, PT MBS in 1986 and some other companies on the latter years.

Mensa Group, comprises of several companies with diversified activity such as importing, exporting and trading pharmaceutical raw materials, food, feed, and cosmetic; generic pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical supplies and dental equipment manufacturing, pharmaceutical; hospital/ medical supplies and consumer goods distribution.

The Group employs approximately 4000 employess for running its business and established a solid distribution network covering all part of Indonesia as an asset for further growth.

Mensa Group have already stared to enter the regional market with now having its presence in more than 15 countries with its own brand produce in it’s own manufacturing facility.

Now Mensa Group has earn the trust for more than 60 principals throughout the group, and still very aggressively looking for more strategic partner to growth and to take the business into a much higher level.
